LBP2 Seems Limited Now

Archive: 4 posts

Am i the only one who see's LBP2 as extremely limited. I remember back when before LBP2 was announced, Everyone thought that there was no way they could make a new LBP game better. But they where wrong, And then just before LBP3 was announced people were thinking the same thing. It's quite strange how this happens...

4 Years Later...

LBP4 Announced. Unlimited Layers! 1/12 Players! A Platform For Anything!

Players: Maaan... LBP3 was sooo limited...

It'll Be An Endless Cycle!

I mean I don't think LBP3 is all that unlimited now but it does a pretty darn good job of fitting a lot into the good ol' PS3. There's still a lot you can do with LBP2 though, it just takes longer.2014-10-27 17:22:00

Think of it this way. There's a LOT we can't make in the LBP creatoverse.

The game looks to be progressing through the history of game development, except it has a slight boost in the graphics department, as opposed to the 8-bit we were stuck with back then.

Before, we had nothing but side-scrollers in LBP and games that were top down.

Now, we have these new tools to make 3D levels. It's like the appearance of the first 3D games back then. They weren't the prettiest, but they were amazing.

Right now, it's as if we are in the era of when Mario 64 first came out; perhaps a little earlier though.

This so much. I was saying to someone the other day about LBP 3 bringing crappy 90's cameras back.
