Sorry if this is meant to be posted somewhere else or this has already been answered, but I'm really worried! I have LBP 1, LBP 1 Collector's Edition and LBP 2 on my PS3. For Christmas 2013 I got a PS4 and was really happy about it. (Still am.) But I do have one major concern! I know a lot of people are just saying "It isn't confirmed.", but does ANYONE have any news on whether my data from LBP 1 and LBP 2 on my PS3 will carry over onto LBP 3 on my PS4!? I have already pre-ordered it, so no I can't just get LBP 3 on my PS3. Thanks to any feedback I get!

If you preorder in store u can switch it but im 99% sure they will find a way for it to carry over

I've been worried about this myself but I think we'll be able to transfer content over from our cloud saves through PS+ and from USB. I checked a level today and then checked to see where the materials were from. I was greeted with a plain earth, a sticker of the DLC involved and the word 'Purchased'. Clearly it recognised that I had bought those DLC packs so the two are definitely communicating in some way.

@GribbleGrunger Was your LBP 1 + 2 on PS3 and LBP 3 on PS4?? Yes, I have the PS4 version of the beta and it recognised DLC I'd bought for LBP2 on my PS3. Of course I couldn't actually access the DLC but the icon was there on the blank planet.

You most certainly can use the profile importer with a usb since the profile file size is close to 10MB. I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you got rid of your ps3 then you might have to manually redownload all the packs, but you'd still have them as for LBP2 they made them different packs that functioned more like crossbuy.
