Ok, folks, start digging. I saw hot steam rising from coals for starters and sackboy's controls have been tightened up even further. He looks far more solid now as he lands and jumps.2014-10-25 18:07:00

Oh, so the hubs are similar to what was done in the DC Comics Level Pack? That's neat !2014-10-25 18:48:00

Can you imagine if the tweaked controls start to spread like wildfire and just draw the masses to this game? That would be the best thing ever.2014-10-25 19:07:00

Urgh, I hated those. All the extra load times... this could turn out horrible to ace.

Amazing video! It's honestly insane how much more re-playability the Story Mode will have now. Replaying levels with new collected characters, power-ups, the 'collectibells', quests, etc. adds SO much more depth. I love it.

I hope so, I think a lot of casual gamers will enjoy LBP much more this time around. I keep checking LBP3's position on Amazon and it still hasn't broken the Top 200 in Video Games, so let's hope public interest increases.

Like I've said before, they need to release a Story Mode trailer already to truly showcase everything.

I for one am quite ecstatic at seeing a steampunk, what looks to be almost train oriented story section. Score for train geeks.2014-10-26 02:12:00

Hubs, eh? That's quite interesting, so long as the whole planet thing is still around.2014-10-26 02:33:00

I have no idea how you could've noticed that, but either way it'll be amazing!

And as for the coal, visual elements, here I come!

I doubt acing each level will be a problem. Sumo Digital will most likely notice this could be an issue.

The steam is one of the new effects. Animated materials basically.

I had a feeling they were gonna do this after I saw the HUB they had for the DC DLC!

Which is a yay from me!

HUBs have always been one of my favorite parts of a game!

Surprised I never saw many HUBs while playing community levels though.

Oh interesting.
That powerup inventory (@ 5:20) is very similar to the one I made in LBP2 (with logic help from shadowriver of course).
In the the one I made you held L1 to bring it up, then chose the powerup via the right stick. (you simply let go of the L1 button, no need to press X like in LBP3)
How is this one accessed/used?

It's accessed by simply holding O. You technically have 3 Popits in LBP3... pressing Square is the traditional one, holding Triangle will bring up your quests (even in the pod) and holding O does as shown in the video.
