Blaster Handle

Archive: 4 posts

I am usually good at figuring logical stuff out but this new blaster handle thing is proving to be a pain. I have made a simple torch that can be held and selected from the sack popit and all I want it to do is turn on and off at the touch of a button like a real torch... I used a controlinator set to closest player but thats impractical because is wont always be the person holding the torch that will be controlling the on off feature. I have also just wired a controlinator from the blaster handle microchip through a toggle and then to the torch but it doesn't work.

Any ideas? It's probably really simple

Hi.
Ok... Make your torch object and place on it the blaster handle chip where you want to grip the torch. Place the controllinatos (set to invisible) elsewhere on the torch object. On the controllinator wire the torch button...eg R1, into a toggles input from the toggles output wire it into the trigger input on the blaster handle. On the blast handle chip, bring the wire across from the trigger input to the trigger output on other side. Now wire the blaster handles output into the input on the light.

Still doesn't work

Take the output of the blaster handle (the one that doesn't seem to have any input connected to it) and wire it to a toggle, wire the toggle output to your light. Pressing R1 should now toggle the light.2014-10-25 22:43:00
