Published Levels Limit

Archive: 14 posts

I tried to use the search option, but I didn't find anyone who made the same question, so here I am.

What is the new maximum number of published levels a creator can upload online in LBP3, at least in the beta?
I know that the last LBP game, Karting, gave every creator the possibility to upload up to 30 levels. Is that the same thing in LBP3, or do we still have the 20 levels limit?
I've never reached the limit myself, but I've read about complaints time ago, and there is a bunch of creators I'm following that encountered some problems with it, leaving alone all the ones I don't know or follow. With the dynamic thermometer, there are new ways to create bigger levels without using level links, but still... I would really like to see that number increased.

Each adventure can have 15 levels, and someone on twitter confirmed you can have 20 adventures.2014-10-26 11:22:00

Are you sure you can have 20 adventures? Only octagonal craters on your moon are for adventures. I haven't counted them but I'd say there are around 4. It's still better than 20 overall though.

Yes, you can only have a few (3 I think) on your moon, but someone posted a picture with 20 adventure maps on one earth.2014-10-26 18:38:00

A glitch perhaps?

Yes, or maybe he photoshopped the image. But for now I'm satisfied with taking their word for it. If you're not, I suggest you try it out for yourself.2014-10-26 20:38:00

I have and you can only make Adventures on the designated moons. I think there is about three or four. You cannot make an adventure on the normal moons. I'll check after the footy to see if there's an option I've missed.

Yes, but after publishing you could just delete it from your moon and start a new one, right?2014-10-27 00:22:00

And I thought I knew all the new things that have been included in LBP3. I definitively need to learn more about those "Adventure Levels" you've been talking about.

Thanks for the answers!

Yeah, fair point. I suppose you could also keep some older backups on a USB just in case. So that's 300 levels ... can't sniff at that!
