Actually, Lift Off was changed to Set the Controls for the Heart of the Negativitron. Into the Heart of the Negativitron is the boss fight.

Level names are just one of the many things that can change during development. Most obvious reason being that it's believed that the new name sounds more exciting or is better fitting to the level. Random Fact: Grab and Swing from the Da Vinci's Workshop theme from LittleBigPlanet 2 was originally going to be called Get A Grip Too.
