Memorizing Quests
Archive: 6 posts
Quick question! Has anyone attempted to use a memorizer in the beta to memorize the quests? How exactly would this work to check if it's activated, completed or not seen? Also, I couldn't help but notice that I couldn't find the memorizer in the beta except from the 3D movement by AlexIO34, so has anyone messed around with new tools with it? | 2014-10-22 09:16:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
There's no point, it's counterproductive even. Quests already carry over to your next play, so there's no need to save anything. And they have a mechanism to start all quests clean in the level's menu, you'd destroy that by using a memorizer. | 2014-10-22 09:54:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
I don't think the memorizer chip is actually in the beta. I've looked through all the logic and never come across it. | 2014-10-23 00:27:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
@Rogar - So does all parts of the quest carry over? Say like I wanted to use the organizatron as a means of monitoring a percentage that goes up and down, would that a) be possible to make the percentage to go down (I know the beta it isn't but maybe in the full?) b) Be able to save that particular percentage possibly through objectives maybe? @GribbleGrunger I found it in a community level and can say it does work. There is a team pick with the chip entitled 'Ultimate 3D Giveaway (includes swimming)' by AlexIO34 which has the logic in the rotation microchip on the 3D movement. I was super excited when I sifted through the logic trying to understand it (i didn't) and stumbled on the memorizor | 2014-10-23 06:45:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |

One day I'll understand (won't I?) | 2014-10-23 12:01:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |

I've imported a level from LBP2 which used memorisers (which were editable in the level)....so it's possible he grabbed one from a level he'd made.. | 2014-10-23 13:34:00 Author: James-p Posts: 286 |
