Hey guys, lately I've got into PC gaming, and more specifically, League of legends. If you've ever PC Gamed, your probably know that League of Legends, a MOBA (massive online battle arena) is considered the most popular video game at the moment. As the World Finals for the eSports scene of LoL was yesterday in Korea, I thought I would share it with you guys as the new season is starting next month. League of Legends is a fast-paced, competitive online game that blends the speed and intensity of an RTS with RPG elements. Two teams of powerful champions, each with a unique design and playstyle, battle head-to-head across multiple battlefields and game modes. With an ever-expanding roster of champions, frequent updates and a thriving tournament scene, League of Legends offers endless replayability for players of every skill level. I had to quit league after hitting lv30. Took up way too much of my time Yeah, getting to level 30 itself takes a month or so, and then there's ranked; which is the actual competitive side of it - not just normals where people screw around. I'm currently sitting in Gold III

At least a third of my friends play league, and they're always pushing me to get back into it, but I feel like playing the game too much just gets you too hooked. I have friends in platinum and diamond, and those are generally the ones who blab about it the most. Plus there's too much stress involved in high-ranked leagues. LoL is not a game, it's a disease. I don't wanna end up like those zombie friends of mine. -Wolf :3: BTW congrats on getting Gold

Removed all stress for me. Yeah, it is for sure the most addicting game I've played, but easily the most fun I've had playing a video game, especially with 8 or so friends.

Oh, it's on. :kz: Just kidding, actually just last week I tried out DoTA for the first time and Im enjoying it as a counterpart to LoL. DoTA is much more complicated and harder imo, LoL is much simpler and doesn't strain my eyesight as badly as Dota. I do enjoy the more diverse heroes in dota though. (except those 5 second stuns :kz

Ahhh, yes, I'm rather enjoying League quite a bit right now. I'm at level 12, and I'm using Shyvana, Sona, Kayle, and Poppy. Garen is a sometimes. I'm mainly playing bot games, since I always get thrashed in normals, and it doesn't feel good at all. 8C Yeah, there are a lot of smurfs (High level players on low level accounts) in lower levels, mainly around your level. You will need to eventually play normals so you have experience when it comes to playing ranked, but you don't have to start until level 20 or so. Also, make sure you get runes (tier 3) before you head into ranked - they make you a lot stronger but are very cost worthy when it comes to IP. I would recommend just buying a lot of champions, get some you like, then buy runes.

Yeah, there are a lot of smurfs (High level players on low level accounts) in lower levels, mainly around your level. Just like the Dota 2 Russians.
