Infinite Layer Glitch

Infinite Layer Glitch
(Image)
Using this glitch that existed in LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation 3, you can place objects outside of the normal seven layers.

The image above is the glitch in action.

<spoiler="Create an object in the foreground layers">
To generate a material object outside the normal layers, place a Logic component on an object. With the Popit Cursor, hold "R" and select the Logic component, then box select the object that you want to act as a Logic component. Now release "R" and copy the object. You can place the object as if it were a component.

This allows you to copy objects on top of each other. Each new object you copy will be further in front than the previous object. However, you can't delete the objects behind the front object or the front objects will be deleted like a Microchip.

In order to use the extra layers properly, you must heart both the square shape and the Popit Cursor. Then, go to the Hearted Items and select the Popit Cursor. Copy the objects, then press "L". Then select the square shape and select a material.

Now experience the material brush being in the "foreground layers"! You now must place the object down. Now the object you placed will really be in the foreground layers. You can safely capture this object.

<spoiler="Background Layers">
Now to make material objects in the background layers.

Firstly, you need to place sticker panel. Then place a Microchip on it. On the Microchip you need to place a NOT Gate and an Emitter. Connect the NOT Gate to the On/Off input of the Emitter. Set up the Emitter to these settings below.

Ignore Parent Velocity: Yes
Input Action: Emit Once
Lifetime: 0s
Max Emitted: (infinite)
Max Emitted At Once: 1
Destroy Oldest when Max Emitted Objects is Reached: Yes
Clean up when Destroyed: No

Now you can capture the sticker panel you just created. Now set the emitter to emit the foreground object you had created. Move the sticker panel to the farthest back layer and activate the emitter. Then move it to the farthest front layer then activate it again.

As you can see the object is now in the background layers instead of the foreground layers.
</spoiler>

<spoiler="How to put an object already in your Goodies Bag into the background or foreground layers">
Firstly place the sticker panel tool you had created. Then place the object you want in the background or foreground layers.

Now attach an object that is in the extra layers to the object you want to move. Then set the emitter to emit the object group you just made. Now move the emitter to the back layer to move the object to the back layers, or the front layer to move the objects to the front layers, then activate the emitter. Next, you must move the emitter to the opposite layer, so move it from the back layer to the front layer or the front layer to the back layer. Finally, activate the emitter.
</spoiler>

<spoiler="Problems">
*In order to select an object in the background layers, you must tap on it, or box select it.
*You cannot change the layers like you could in LittleBigPlanet 2. If you try to make it less than one fat layer the object will suddenly move to the normal wafer thin layers.
*It is more difficult to use than in LittleBigPlanet 2.
