Important question.

Logic in LBP is not scripting and stuff but... electrical engineering? I'm confused what logic is, is LBP logic a real thing that can be done in real life?2014-10-18 04:57:00

Ehh.... Sort of. I think.
TBH, I don't really know.

I read something, can't remember where, that lbp logic is kind of like the scripting language C#.2014-10-18 05:27:00

Is it like circuit board creation?2014-10-18 05:54:00

Yes, it is something the can be applied to real life. Whilst there are logic based programming languages, I prefer to think of LBP logic as 'Absolute machine code', that is, the lowest form of code a machine understands... 1s and 0s.

I studied Propositional Logic (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propositional_calculus), which is very similar to the tools we have in littlebigplanet.

The idea behind it is looking at if something is true or false, in other words, it is either one of two things. 1/0 in binary.

Logic gates in LBP and computers in generally also work in this binary field. If you have a switch... It can either be on or off... 1 or 0.

Computers are made up of these gates, lots and lots of them. They are used to make registers and other components. If you wanted, you could very easily make simple thing like this (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIPS_instruction_set#/image/File:MIPS_Architecture_(Pipelined).svg) in littlebigplanet.

So yes, this type of logic (there are many) plays a huge part in the physical world, in making computers, but also has a huge role in theoretical mathematics and is used as a tool all the time.

yeah, super physical, like this read and write CPU object (https://lbp.me/v/0s5dj3)

couldn't find ayneh's, maybe she took it down :|
