Illustrator is about $600.00 by itself. I use it professionally. I understand that there are much cheaper alternatives that have many of the same features, but this is what I'm used to.

Haha great work. What do you use it for, if you don't mind me asking? All sorts of vector-based illustration. Logos, web graphics, print materials. I'm not really an illustrator (I'm an industrial designer by training: products, furniture, interiors) but I do just about everything. Illustrator, Photoshop, and AutoCAD are my main tools.

i've worked with photoshop and AUTOCAD, and i gotta say, I prefer Photoshop the most... I'm more used to that than anything but i gotta deal with GIMP because Photoshop is too advanced for my ancient piece of crap called COMPUTER :.(

H4H makes all sackboys angriest! I hate it because, all these 12 year old trophy obsessives gloat of their Create Trophy! I spent 40 hours, 40 HOURS, on my level, and guess how many plays. 1. JUST 1! At least he hearted it, but i just want payment for SUCH a big work!

That's a cool illustration! I use Illustrator at work too. Really good for logos that will need to be enlarged later in their lives. Pricey but it really is an amazing program. I do prefer Photoshop for most of my graphics work but sometimes you just gotta run stuff in Illustrator.
