My "friend" just got into the lbp3 beta. I am. I dont know im just depressed like. I value this beta so much and. Im feeling suicidal. I know what you guys will say "its not long dude" "its only a beta" yeah maybe to you guys but not to me

Hey, look, I know how you feel. I had been following LBP1 for over a year, and when I missed out on the Beta invites, I did feel crushed. What you have to understand is that the Beta is primarily for bug testing, whilst it is cool to try the game earlier, It is not the end of the world. What I am trying to say is that the LBP3 Beta experience is not the "full game", when the games comes out shortly is when the real fun will begin. I was in the LBP2 Beta, but I didnt really enjoy it as much as when I finally got the full game! Which is why I am fine with not being in the LBP3 Beta. I could go on all day about how it "Isnt the end of the world", but I am a realist and I get that it wont make you any less disappointed. What I would suggest is trying to take your mind of it, if you are a huge LBP fan, why not grab a pen and paper and plan a level so you will be fully prepared? You arnt the only one who missed out, it definitely sucks but there is nothing we can do about it, so we might as well enjoy all of the new LBP3 content that other users are posting If that fails, it may sound difficult, but if you really are depressed by this, you may want to consider avoiding the forums for the next couple days why it all cools down.

Seriously. Cam down it's only a beta. And yes I will say the game is only a month away. You're also acting as if you are the only one who isn't in the beta. There are many like you but they are being patient. If you are a true fan you wouldn't be sad or complaining about this.

I enjoyed the beta for all of the games (Yes I got into all the betas) More than the final game. The community was so much better. I know I look like a idiot but so be it. Each day feels like a year. only 45 years then i guess. Its not Just a beta to me. Its more than that. Its the only time when the community is not full of emos and horrible copied levels. I have had a lot of other bad things happening to me in my life (I wont say its private) So this just adds ontop of the things. Im just so emotionally unstable at the moment. If I Was in the beta I would cry tears of joy im trying not to cry while writing this but it really hard. I cant explain how I feel its just. I don't know what to do in life. Even when it does come out ill be upset years after

It's just a beta. And at the end of the day: It's also just a game. The full game's almost out and it'll be better than the beta. I don't even know what that emo thing is all about? I've never seen one in LBP. Copied levels won't be a problem, since there's no Cool Levels anymore (I think). So just ignore them after all. Not a big deal. I think you should avoid the forum for a few days. It's not the end of the world, and it's really nothing like 45 years. Btw saying you feel suicidal by this is really ridiculous and maybe you should get some help. I don't think your problem is not-getting-into-a-LBP-beta.

And your saying your depressed and feeling suicidal because you haven't got in a BETA for a game that gets released in a months time? I'm sorry that is the most pathetic thing I have ever read in my life.

You weren't left out... Sumo does feel bad to those who didn't get invited to the beta. But do you know what the best part of a beta is... The end of the beta where everyone is kicked out and goes back to LBP2 stuff again until the game is fully completed and released. It's only a month away so don't let you hopes go down. Plus, It's a beta which mean not all the brand new logic, places, and other things i could possibly think of isn't the main parts of the game. There will be more and greater ones too, this is just the start base of the 3rd installment. But if had to ask I was in a couple of beta of my own with a little help, I have been in the LBP1 & Water Beta, LBP2 Beta and LBPK Beta with my brother's older account. And to be honest I didn't like Beta Testing just like today. But in my mind it was tell me that it was amazing see the first game within the first look at the game. We got to be chosen by being recently active or having great levels, and sure enough i was a star of the skies. Now... I rarely join beta test as much as today is. But to be honest i rather give everyone else a chance to play the beta. And whatever i don't get chosen i don't cry about it, I actually felt happy for the one that got in and i usually say "Congratulations" or "Nice Job" or "Way To Go, Getting in" and all that. It's just feels good just to say those things rather then hating them for it. Getting back on topic you don't have to cry about not being a beta, You're friends aren't having fun and faffing around without you. They're helping the community make sure the game is perfect for launch, that's why Sumo sent out Invites to those who helped the community and even thrilled the community of LBP with some fantastic levels. And yeah they made have screw up inviting the wrong types of people who would rather spoil and ruin for the rest of the game for the rest of us other then wow us with they're game. Sumo Digital is not to blame for the invites. Sumo Digital and the rest of the LBP Team are working hard to make this LBP the Best LBP Experience we ever enjoyed, The Team will keep you updated on brand new news, trailers and info on LBP3, In the next couple of weeks leading up to the Launch Weekend! In the meantime just relax, take some time off the forums if have too. Sooner or later you may forget that you didn't want the Beta key in the first place.

As a community sure, we all want to be in the beta, but some of us dont get in. There are many paople who did not get in however this is a very supportive community so just know we are all here for you!
