Hi every sack chums! Since Halloween is just around the corner and getting cold chills is the trend of the season, I just wanna showcase my new and first ever "Thriller/Scary" level. I've worked on this level like for about two months so I really appreciate it if you give it a try!

In the game you'll find scattered clues about her disappearance and you might figure out what really happened to Annie Scott once you connect all the clues together, or if you've search enough, you might be able to find her.

I recommend playing with friends so that you can help each other once one gets in trouble around. The map is undoubtedly huge and the game has two different endings. Hope you see both endings of the story.

I would really appreciate if you can give some of your feedback so that I can improve this level more. Also, it will be a big help if you can report any bugs found in the game, specially in multiplayer so that I can fix it.

If you wanna find the level in the game you can search for my PSN account anidgo07 (http://lbp.me/u/Danidgo07)
You can also add me as your friend just type in "LBP Central" in the subjet of your invitation

P.S.
I'll add more screenshots tonight so you can see more content of the level.
Thank you!

Yes, interesting indeed! The presentation, atmosphere, and visuals were all great, and I really enjoy a good mystery. I was getting into the story and clues, but there are a couple problems I ran into: 1) the enemies can reach you behind walls. I was in the graveyard behind a fence when I saw one walking along the perimeter outside. I thought I'd be safe but I was captured when he just got close. Was this intentional? Because it seemed a bit unfair. And 2) maybe add more clues to find the key? Since it is a huge level, I felt like I was just repeatedly scouring the entire area. I managed to find the scarf, blood stain, flowers, cabin, car, and graveyard flowers, but no wilted tree. Despite those two issues, I really did enjoy it! Very unique and captivating, I hope to finish it this weekend 2014-10-18 01:54:00

Thanks for the feedback Rainbro!

Yeah the enemy was intended to pass through walls coz he walks slower than you. You can just stop and turn off your flash light (he's attracted to flashlights and your footstep sounds) every time you hear his footsteps so that he will just move away.

Maybe I should add a footnote that the enemy can walk through walls?
Ok, I'll add more clues on how to find the key! Thank you again for that fruitful feedback.

You tried to play it with other players? It will be easier if there's a lot of you playing. And it's more fun coz it has a search and rescue part when playing with 2 to 4 players!

Really nice, perfect visuals well balanced, I thought I would play with headphones in the dark absolute must! I was soooo scared when I first heard the steps, I froze... I found two clues, I think the demon which comes after you should maybe walk through walls slowly, so as soon as he hits a wall, he is pushing the matter apart with demonic powers Really liked the level it's faily perfect how it is.2014-10-18 06:16:00

You're welcome I played it again a few minutes ago and did realize they go through walls, but considering that they walk slower, I think it is fair. I think a footnote might be helpful but after playing it again, I don't think it's necessary. This time I completed it! No other criticism but I do have a few questions:
Have you thought about having the key at the tree before reading the note? I found the tree first on my second playthrough and thought it was the wrong tree.
Is one of the endings simply when you get caught? And the other ending is finding Annie and returning to Inspector Sack?
And did I find all the clues? I found the scarf, blood stain, flowers, van, Annie's car, graveyard, tree, water tower, and the security guard.

Pretty decent, I did find it a bit too dark to fully see what I was doing, but I wandered off into the woods anyway, and was promptly killed... by something. Didn't see what, or have any real warning that I was in danger.

I think I ended up being sacrificed or something after that.

Nice atmosphere and controls though. I think that the flash light could illuminate a little more of the area though.

Congrats on finishing the level and I really appreciate your time for it!

Onto your questions:

1.) About the key, yes. I have thought about that, I was more on making it as the final obstacle for the level where you need to go back all the way to the wilted tree to get the key after reading the note. Misinterpreting it as the wrong tree is part of the obstacle XD.

2.) Yes, that's both endings.

3.) Nope, you haven't found all. You missed only a few though: the Scarecrow, the Letter in the west woods and the gasoline boy? Though some are not really nescessary, but i hope every clue helped you to stitch the story behind her disappearance.

But in any case, you've finished it. Congrats and thanks!

Thanks for the comments, noted on that!

You listen to footsteps to know if somebody is following you, that's the warning that you're actually near in danger. That's when you need to stop walking and turn off your flash light so that the enemy cant follow you and will just move away.

Thanks for trying it! I appreciate that!
