Your Overall Favourite LittleBigPlanet 2 Platformer?

Archive: 9 posts

Hi Everybody!

I was thinking since its basically the end of an era for the LittleBigPlanet series, what was your favourite platformer - please note not minigames or other - just platformers and why?

My favourite platformer was RikiRiki-ita's Kaleidas Maze, the gameplay and theme is insane. I love the simplistic yet evolutionary style this mm pick brought at the time, as well as an introduction to Festerd_Jesterd iconic LBP style music which followed on from this level. It is so fluid and fun, sadly Riki didn't do a lot after this but I hope he makes a return in LBP3 following on with the same essence and style. >> https://lbp.me/v/7fzgv5

I'd like to know your classics, Thanks!

Oof, it'd be hard to choose just one... I like alot.

Although Kaleida's Maze is high in that list.

Kalieda's Maze is awesome for sure. "Polarized" and "Culture Meeting" should have been MM Picks as well.

CompherMC's "The Button" would be up there.

Lockstitch's "Remnant: Ignotus" and "Refuse Ridge" I have played many times and still love them both. Also "For Vanished Heights."

Bobtox's "Skunk Factory" series is my favorite series they are all great levels.

I'm really digging Halonova's style right now, and I keep playing "Obscure" and "Autumnal Equinox" over and over when I need inspiration.

"InterKinetic" by C_McKamey comes to mind.

There really are too many when I start going through my list of hearted levels. The ones that I keep going back and playing again are the ones listed above.

Pretty sure most agree that Comph had/has some of the best, most interactive platformers in LBP history. Then again, there are always the hidden gems that just don't get noticed. I specifically remember this dude who did really sweet silhouette platformers, can't remember his name though.2014-10-17 21:29:00

I guess I'll contribute to this list.

The semi-recent Team Pick "Rusty Factory (https://lbp.me/v/qsnrpfh)" has some very clever gameplay, and I enjoyed it a lot.
