I'm thinking about Changing my Playstation account/log-in name From R-V-2-0-1-3 to Faroe13 or just Faroe. I have used that name forever and only picked RV2013 because I didn't think that I would be using it so much for LBP. I want to change it when I get my PS4 and LBP3 releases. Will there be any issues that I may have to worry about? If I did this now on my PS3, will I lose all of my LBP2 stuff?

Name changing is a big problem on PSN... because you can't change it. But I heard before you can change your name and add symbols and I also heard you can change your name indefinitely on PSN JP.

If you create a new account and choose your region to Japan, you can, as stated before in this thread, change your PSN name to different things, with symbols and japanese text. At least that's what you can do on the PS3. I do not own a PS4 so I do not know anything about changing names on PS4.

If you were to create a new account right now, that account would have no LittleBigPlanet 2 save data, but your old account will. You can transfer your old accounts LittleBigPlanet 2 profile to your new account by: 1. Backing it up in the In-Game Start Menu 2. Then importing it to your new account. This will grant your new account access to all stickers, costumes, etc. on your old account for use. However, there is a downside, no pins can be earned anymore, since the profile imported is another accounts profile.

As stated above, you can just copy the profile onto the new account. You can also send objects and copyable levels to the new account if you had to.

If you make a new account, or "sub account" you will still have all your dlc. You can transfer most other stuff through copyable levels, prize bubbles and lock boxes. You will have to replay all the story levels and dlc levels to get the prizes. Your pin progress will be back at zero for the sub account. Lots of players make sub accounts so they can fill up more than 1 earth. I think shookie has 3. Shookie 99, shookie monster, ect...
