Maybe instead of having to pause when shooting a paintinator to obtain a paintball it could just be in projectiles section. They should also be a color tweak for it and when it hits the ground of a background it should leave a splat effect like it did in LBP1. There coukd also be a option to disable paintball splats.

Better yet, allow creators to create objects like the paintball that can automatically sticker players whenever they are triggered, be it by impact from an object, submersion in a pool of jelly, or even just jumping on a button. Of course, there should also be a way to remove that unwanted decal without ruining the careful stickering of the player's costume.
