I've been trying to get this pin for several hours today...I've dived in several times, played several levels with divers, but the amount still won't increase. I don't understand what I have to do to make it go up. I've dived directly into a level and finished several levels with those players, and I've also used the big "dive in" button and joined players that way. And I don't leave as soon as joining...

You are using the "Dive In" button correct? It will not count by joining someone through a level, it must be that button on the Pod main menu. Once your in their Pod, convince them to play some levels and such, after awhile the pin should increase by 1.

When I was trying to get myself the trophy I found that once a level was completed, not one that I joined midway. The counter would go up by 1. If I were playing a level where it was already in-progress, my counter would remain on the number it were before I joined. I find a lot of people reject you and the people you keep requesting to join are the one's who either ignore your request or decline you.
