On this Monday's (Feb 23) EPDaily Kareem Ettouney from MM talked about a possible tool for streaming videos to youtube. In other words VIDEO CAPTURE!!! At about 6:25 when viewed from G4TechTv.ca he begins talking about how users want to show how level creation is done, then at about 6:42 he let's it slip that video capture is in the works with "Let's give the users a tool that can stream the content and put in on Youtube" They're giving us Video Capture!!1 3 Cheers for MM!!!

Actually this was announced the first time last October in the Sony press release announced their deal with Youtube. Basically, since last fall the PS3 firmware is having a Youtube upload function in it for game develloper to use in their games. In the press release they said the first game to feature that video upload function will be LittleBigPlanet. Lastly, there's a game in Japan that already uploads with the YouTube function. It's that Toro game that I don't remember the name but we received a costume of Toro in LBP. .

PixelJunkEden and Noby Noby Boy both use this feature. Uploading directly to youtube would be freaking perfect for this game though. I'd love to record a playthrough of a level with a friend and have it all up for all to see

This addition is not just great for creators, its also great for MM. This would be such great advertising for the game if everybody had this tool. There would be literally thousands of vids on youtube showing off the game.

Man this would be soooooo awesome! But i do want to be able to save it to my HDD.... Noby Noby Boy allows you to choose the ability of savign the file to your HDD or uploading directly to youtube. Hopefully LBP does the same, because I'd love to record as much high quality footage as possible

Sam_Protagonist just gave this response in a thread at the LittleBigWorkshop forums about video uploading in the game. It's no hint, we'd definitely like to incorporate video uploading into the game, the issue is whether it's technically viable and whether the time exists to create a workable system of that kind. That's the down side to wishlists - sometimes things stay on the list forever. All I can confirm right now is that there are no plans to introduce this feature at present. First thing that would happen is people would complain about video length restrictions. They would not only have to give you the option of capturing but also a method of editing it since youtube would not take the video if it exceeded their time limit, which I think is 10 minutes. Sounds like alot of time but when explaining a level or showing how something is made, its not.
