I just read about this today and it stuck a stick through the heart of my childhood. Anyone have any awesome moments they remember from the story? I know it's currently in the final battle, but still... Thought he'd have lengthened this one. Especially after the last battle... Anyway, they already announced a new era so they'll be continuing it, GT style I heard speculation they'd try and finish it up on chapter 700 but I always thought that was silly... Well, CC2 will keep making games and they already announced a sequel movie. I just hope they confirm Naruhina :3 /fangirls

Anyway, they already announced a new era so they'll be continuing it, GT style Hehe. That should go swimmingly. But yeah, if I end up seeing this through to the end, it'll be the second manga I ever read all the way through. At this point I figure I might as well.

This is a rather old thread but I wanted to come back to it and mention something. Not to spoil anything for people who don't know what happens, but... I found the last batch of chapters to be very disappointing. I think many others share this opinion with me. I find it really sad to see that one of the best manga out there had to end on such a dissatisfying note. Just wanted to get that out there and see what opinions you fellow weeaboos have.

Kishi obviously rushed the final thirty or so chapters. Which is especially weird because he spent so long on the early parts of that war. It's because he had a time schedule, though. He had to finish the story before December, so they could release The Last in time for what is a romantic season in Japan. so yeah, he rushed the ending to his 700 chapter and 15 year story manga for a movie. Huzzah
