wow, why is it worth so much then? How it works? Websiteoutlook contains a collection of actual number of pageview from other websites. The visitor data is combined with information about number of links that point towards the site, country, Alexa ranking and other data that is available on-line. All this information has been used to make a formula that uses the information that is available on-line to estimate the number of pageviews, its worth and possible daily incom that the site has. Pageviews and what links here etc. | 2009-02-24 18:08:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

Well done Cartman... =D CC is going to sell us on for moneys!!! what have you done!?!?! CC doesn't own the site... lbp does. Unless you're referring to CC making the site is what it is today. Which you'd be correct | 2009-02-24 18:57:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |

Reminds me I should stop by and say hi to him on his profile page. | 2009-02-24 21:08:00 Author: OverWork Posts: 873 |

I account for about two-thirds of that just by being here. | 2009-02-24 22:42:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
wow i used this site to find out other sites try youtube! 803 million usd! and wow WD LBP and CC for making the site what it is (LBP for making and CC for Making it what it is today) | 2009-02-24 23:14:00 Author: Zommy Posts: 1232 |

I've noticed him on quite a lot, it's just that he never posts :/. He usually just seems to correspond with CC by PMs from what I've noticed in my addiction to active users... | 2009-02-24 23:14:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
i didnt know about LBP i was just thinking a while ago who owns the site? and also maybe the fact i've never seen any of his posts... guess he does just talk to CC through PMs | 2009-02-24 23:17:00 Author: Zommy Posts: 1232 |
We have 3 admin. lbp owns the site and pays for the server fees. He does not post much but he is the head guy. Just because his activity rating is low does not mean that he does not come on. Reading posts does not give any activity rating, nor do PMs. ConfusedCartman is the front man in terms of admin. He is the administrator that people dialogue with if they need administrative support, and does a lot of the code work and organising behind the scenes. He's most likely to be the admin posting about stuff though. EvilTikiGod is also classed as admin, but this is mainly to help him in his role of improving the site code and server upgrade stuff. An example of his work is the new forum skin that came out recently and trying to squash all the bugs that came with it. You then have the Super moderators such as myself. I was employed by CC. It's our job to try and keep the forum in order and sort out issues before they happen. Moving posts, locking threads, banning spam bots, all that boring stuff. We also dialogue with CC about issues that are happening or are about to happen with the site, like reported posts that come in. We are kind of like the police of the site, if you want a comparison, but we also suggest good things like competition ideas as well as just crack down on evil doers, and are likely to be the main point of call if people have questions or issues with the site. Finally, there are distinguished users. They can't edit every post like a moderator or admin, but they do have limited powers and responsibilities. I can't detail all of those things, but basically they are normal users who have risen above and beyond the call of duty. In all of this though we don't get paid. Moderators don't get paid for moderating, and it actually costs lbp money to pay for the servers we use. I don't think anyone gets any active income from the site, lbp included. It's just a fan site that is run on love for a great game. | 2009-02-25 17:17:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |

i think everyone has gone off topic here.. this isnt about who owns the site it is about this site just being worth 6000$ | 2009-02-25 19:04:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
We should compare lbpc's worth with other fansites. then we can see what which is the more popular fansite. the only other fansite i can think of would be little big workshop though. | 2009-02-25 22:31:00 Author: superBlast Posts: 267 |

oh... well we should still check it out | 2009-02-25 22:46:00 Author: superBlast Posts: 267 |
Wow only $6K, that's really quite low. LittleBigWorkShop is only about $41k, which seems low as well. Although, I'd take that rating with a pinch of salt though. These ratings can be kinda whack. I've seen newgrounds.com valued from $2million up to $40million, when it's probably around the $5-7million mark. | 2009-02-25 23:50:00 Author: Winston-Smith Posts: 81 |
well fansites probley wasn't taking off until LBP was released and that wasn't all that long ago | 2009-02-26 00:23:00 Author: superBlast Posts: 267 |

I miss lbp, i wish he would post a little more, if at all. He is the creator so i think it would be a nice thing for him to do. Besides without him, this community would not exist and it would not cost... $6000 USD Cheers! | 2009-02-26 00:53:00 Author: RAINFIRE Posts: 1101 |

LOL Sorry for not being on here enough guys. Between family issues and work, I've put in way too little time on here on the forums. As for the site being worth $6000, if someone offered that to me at the cost of the site say getting shut down, I'd say no in a heartbeat. I'll try and post a lot more on here guys. It's just been a lot harder the last 4 months or so. Cartman and the others have done an AMAZING job at keeping things running. Without them and you guys, this site would have crashed and burned. A text ad costs about $15K a month. Tom would never sell Newgrounds though. Especially not now with all the cool stuff coming out soon. wow thats crazy...people pay him like 15k a month per ad...thats nuts.... ya i wouldnt sell it if hes making that kind of cash | 2009-02-26 19:20:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |
wow thats crazy...people pay him like 15k a month per ad...thats nuts.... ya i wouldnt sell it if hes making that kind of cash lol, don't confuse income with profit. He has to pay to keep Newgrounds running, the mortgage/rent on his building, plus the wages for 10 members of staff (11 including himself). | 2009-02-26 21:44:00 Author: Winston-Smith Posts: 81 |
no i figured there would be extra cost going into it....didn't know he had his own building for it though; i guess it makes sense. Crazy his staff is that big. So do you think the building is where he hosts his own site or just where he has his programmers work i guess | 2009-02-26 21:47:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |

crazy....so he hosts his own servers...must save him money? I'm guessing when a site gets a TON of traffic like that you need a pretty big server to host it = more cost to run it. If your renting a server im sure especially | 2009-02-27 00:02:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |
