Stickers:
Placable on decorations, normally unplacables, microchips(and to stay on microchips; the circuitboard) and transparency options

Decorations:
Custom 3D mesh for custom decorations, effects(hue, contrast, glow, etc.), thickness, transparency

Stickers do stay on microchips and transparency can be achieved using sticker panel but I like the idea of being able to place stickers on decorations. Would come in handy in a couple of situations.

I would love to make our own decorations too but I doubt that would be happening anytime soon in LBP. How would thickness work?

You would have to make the 3D meshes within the PS3. It could be modelled using Blender and other modelling software. Imagine the power we would have over our levels!

So you think if someone was able to create meshes externally in a 3D modelling application the game would lag when imported?

I always figured we'd make decorations using the 16 layers. Like if we wanted to make a spike, we'd have to start at the 16th layer, make smaller and smaller circles up to the 1st layer, to give the illusion of a spike. Things would be like a layered cake, but we could still make pretty cool decorations.

And then capture it as a decoration and make it thinner and small so it looks more detailed? If so I like this. Where's the developers when we need them?!
