It's not a price cut it's a promotion, big difference. With a quick time frame like 24 hours, only the most savvy will get in on it, and the company hopes that then generates word of mouth. Best Buy and Future Shop are known for this kind of aggressive pre-order pricing discounts. I get as many pre-orders in as I can around E3, when they have this sale on all newly announced games. And as far as yesterday's deal goes, it's part of an ongoing promotion. Future Shop are doing this with one game every week. This week was LBP3, last week was AC Unity, and we'll have to wait till Friday to know which game is next! So if you're into any games other than LBP, keep an eye out every Friday
