More Music Sequencer Ideas

Archive: 2 posts

- Manipulating Channels of a music sequencer to act as interactive music with one music sequencer.
The Channel Tuner is a sensor which could be activated by Sackboy or a Tag to change channels of INT music or Music Sequencer volumes, speed up the music, or create a smooth/Quick transition between 2 sequencers without delay or split second silence.

- The Sound Effect Mode for the Music Sequencer, allowing creators to make their own SFX with the music sequencer instruments.(Meaning possibly more 8-bit/chiptune instruments)

- More Note Spaces and possibly faster tempo range, Something like on the lines of FL Studio. Notes should be able to go down to at least 1/2 the size of a single note. Just to really get on making fast pase Songs.

- Midi Support since MP3s could be trouble copyright wise. Now seeing how LBP's sequencer cannot have very long notes. I can see an issue with this. plus it would require a USB most likely since I think the PS3 and PS4 do not recognise the Midi file type. and now that I've said that I can see that Midi would also have copyright issues as well. But hey it's LBP. anything could be possible.

I'd LOVE to be able to make Interactive music with the music sequencer!

The sound effect mode would be great, as well. It could cut into the current song playing, and once the sound effect is over, the current song continues playing

Something I'd like to add to this: being able to make a song loop at a certain part, so you can create an intro for the song then just have it loop smoothly without the intro replaying.

Sadly, I don't think much is being added to the Music Sequencer, if not nothing. But, hey, I'm keeping my hopes high!
