This bundle is a bit of a rip off. I am disappointed. Considering you can get a standard bundle with 1 or 2 games for around ?350. Or a Destiny bundle for ?340-360. You're better off buying the LBP3 game separately and buying a different bundle with 1-2 games for the price of the LBP3 bundle give or take a few ?'s. Not good value, do they think we're stupid or something. People always shop around online for better deals and check retail before deciding. If it keeps at that price I may as well get a different bundle and have an extra 1-2 games to play with LBP3 for a similar price of ?386.78. Update: It's even more on GAME UK: ?429.99! Looking at the Infamous, Destiny and Driveclub bundle it's works out cheaper (not by much around ?6-12 if you shop around online) to buy those bundles and then LBP3 separately.

Yeah, I don't think Sony has ever been the type to slash prices of their consoles, even for bundles. Now if this bundle came with the PS4 camera and was the same price, that'd be a great deal. Or they can make a LBP3 bundle with 2 controllers. It kind of goes hand-in-hand (that pun!) with the game's focus on co-op, and would be a great option for families getting it for their kids.

Because off of the back of these bundles and the hype they've created, I started a thread on VGC. Its only really in the last month or so that the value has shifted so far away from official bundles. Most of the year it's been console for ?350 bundle ?385 saving roughly ?15 now we're in the run up to christmas and its a free for all as everyone tries to grab sales.

What I was saying though was they weren't that great of value in savings, in say, compared to the Xbox One Fifa $399 bundle. Typically we only save 10 bucks at most, at least in the US.

There was no point in Sony offering the same deals as MS. The only reason MS did that is because they were (and still are) getting slaughtered in sales. Destiny on the PS4 outsold the XB1 version by 2:1 and sold 300k more consoles that week. FIFA just sold 3.5:1 in favour of the PS4 and sold 100k more consoles. The gap is now around 6m and growing every week. But we are heading into the period of the year where the XBox division has always dominated so Sony will want to make sure it doesn't happen this year by offering the deals I've posted. September has seen over 1m sales of the PS4 (roughly twice that of the XB1), so one month down and three to go. Now is the time to buy a PS4 because October is going to be an incredible month for deals and games but if you just want it for LBP3, wait. What I'm saying is: Hold off on buying this at the moment and wait for extra incentives to be added to the bundle. Probably mid October to early November. You'll probably get added PS+ subscription and a game ot two added.

glad I got ps4 last year on Christmas. - - - - - - - - - - ps4 isn't 600 dollars Oops I meant 500. PS4 is $400, PS4 tax is $30, LBP3 is $60 plus tax... and that's not counting any Protection Plans or a PS Plus subscription (which actually would bump it up to 600!)
