Something SIXAXIS

Decided, since I haven't done much with the sixaxis... ever, I should make something

this is the first thing I thought of that uses smooth controlling of some object, so I will make THIS!

I'd like to see a level like this but I think it would be rather difficult using the controllers SixAxis control. But then again I suppose it comes down to how you make it. Good luck!

If you want to make a sixaxis game, I don't think that would be the best choice when there is a better choice with the sticks. Not that I am saying it won't work, but sixaxis might come off as bothersome for a Missile Command styled game.

A balancing game may be a better choice.

But if you do make a great version of Missile Command using the sixaxis, I'd definitely want to try it.

Hi Amiel445566,

I was trying out the MAD game in the link you gave, I played it for a while, but then got thinking. Just my opinion mind, but I don't think the control scheme lends itself to six-axis. Maybe if you had the six-axis instantly stop when not tilted or something? I just feel a different game (something like the old cannon fodder) would work better. I'm sure you have the skills to make the game, just I feel the tilting controller action would be too awkward for the fine positioning needed for the game. Again, If your gonna go ahead with it, then fair play and good luck,

All of this DOUBT! Dont worry, I have an idea on how I would make it comfortable with the sixaxis

this is how I was going to approach it

sixaxis sets thrust and angle, like expected, and you can use that to hit other missiles
then after you have speed and angle set you can release for "dumb fire" mode which makes it go forward (or curved at the parent angular velocity) till near a missile or level edge

that way you can naturally control more than one missile at a time (well not control, but man those missiles at the same time)

still a work in progress, but that is the idea I was going to apply to the missiles (and honestly, I just wanted to mess around with something sixaxis based)

If I am reading this right, then it does sound like it could be interesting to play. Like a fling game (Ex: Angry Birds), except you will be aiming upwards. And if it's what I think I am reading, then you would also be able to control the speed of the missiles' ('bird&apos in midair...?
