Hi I'm DSK. I'm 24, live in vegas, I love to draw and my current canvas is either the MGO emblem maker, or the LBP level creator. In my breaks at work, I tend to sketch stuff out. Ideas that pop into my head, which recently involve ideas for LittleBigPlanet levels. I grew up with gaming, and I've always been fascinated with user created content dating back to Unreal games and all those crazy mods. I've never had a great gaming rig PC or one capable of producing those user generated content, so LittleBigPlanet has been my very first step into this medium. I got the game a little later than most, but I was quick to hop into it and start. I'm hoping at least one of you knows me as DSKEmilio, I started off making random levels based on youtube poops which feature "Mama Luigi" and "Dr Robotnik" and suddenly branched out into other gaming franchises like the popular super mario levels and the turok games. I'm out of the loop with the technical complex side of LBP, but I try to come up with my own solutions to getting things to work on my levels. I've recently grown accustomed to making my own custom backdrops to my levels which I firmly believe set the mood. But my real passion lies in sculpting characters with the materials and stickers given to me. Whether it be cut out character NPC's or enemies, that's the part of the level creating that I get into the most. Whew that was a lot. Hopefully that info will give you everything you need to know about me. What's up LBP folk? How's it goin?

Haha, well this place has a comfortable atmosphere. I'll do my best to contribute to this place with the best of my abilities. And I'm done with youtube poops, since those 2 are my favs. The rest of my levels will be based on popular games I grew up with, using original stages based on some ideas from the game. Those games include Megaman X, the Metroid series, Actraiser, and more depending on the amount of tools MM will provide us in the future. My current project is actually a loosely based metroid level. It will be extremely open pathed and encourages exploration. Right now I'm trying to re-create familiar settings and the bosses which will inhabit 4 areas of the level. Killing them in any particular order opens up the final area of the level where you face the mother brain. I have hiugh expectations for this new level which I'm leaning towards calling it "Mission to SR388" as to avoid moderation and also to try to draw in new players to the genre of metroid. Oh and it's another serious level, with shooter portions but mostly platform exploration based.

I hope you really like the community, it offers a lot of stuff. From contests, to ideas and tips. You can find it all, and I really hope to see your metroid level soon, we also have a few reviewers here incase you were wondering and wanted them to check out any previous levels. Anyways, enjoy!

welcome to lbpcentral! you'll probley enjoy it here. and i like your level idea. that sounds pretty cool. especially the part thats it's based on metriod and that it doesn't sound linear like most levels are. I hope your level turns out well and once again welcome!
