Anything you are worried about LBP3

Archive: 7 posts

As we all know, there are many things that we are excited about LBP3 but there can be things that make us a little nervous about the upcoming game.
For me it's the spammers who fill up the whole community with "cool levels" that we have already seen. I am worried that they will be there like they were on LBP2.
So if there is anything you are worried about LBP3, feel free to post it here .

Cool pages have been removed completely from LBP3, so no need to worry.2014-09-28 19:50:00

Netcode. Oh my - this is LBP's biggest flaw. For a game so focused on the community and online play, I'm not sure why Media Molecule hadn't hired more to help. I really hope that Sumo and XDEV create a stable ecosystem, from gameplay to loading levels.

Also, I hope Sumo has given us some more powerful filtering tools. In LBP2's given state, finding levels is pathetically difficult. There's a only a handful of options, and most of them aren't very useful. Thankfully, from what we have seen, there are new, better ways to find levels.

Other than these two, I can't think of (at the moment) any other big concern I have. I just played some LBP2 yesterday I can feel the hype building. The possibilities of awesome, fun games is overwhelming. I really hope the LBP3 blows up (in a good way!) so there's plenty of unique content.

At least it isn't Dice but I agree the Netcode isn't all that great. I'm only worried that creating levels has become too easy. What I mean is, the creators are going to have to buff up their levels with a lot. Or else creating something that would be complex in LBP2 is no longer that impressive.

Load times... especially levels that use dynamic thermo. Something that would be very helpful is the ability to download levels to the HDD and also the ability to download levels in our queue so we can download them all at once while we go do something else.2014-09-28 22:22:00

I don't want Sumo Digital to change things up so much and add so many new things that it doesn't feel like LittleBigPlanet anymore, but I don't think they will.2014-09-29 07:54:00
