How do I make a moving transport that returns to its original position if the player falls off. For instance, a grabbable circle attached to a chain that goes up but if you let go it returns to its original position.

( I know this is a simple concept )

Make sure the circle is made of "grabbable" material. Attach a winch to the circle. Attach a grab switch (looks like a hand) to the circle, tweak the switch to be "directional", and apply the switch to the winch.

When the player gabs the material it will engage the winch in one direction, letting go will send it in the opposite direction.

Be careful with this kind of setup, though... if the sponge can be pulled to the side at the top so that it hangs on something and doesn't fall back down, your level might become impassable.2009-02-24 15:42:00

The best way to avoid this problem is to have the upper ledge be on a back layer. Sackboy will automatically land on it (making dismounts easy) and the sponge can't get caught. It's a win-win.
