Material Rotator, Surface Editor, Solid to Light Matter, Stray Paint

Here is three things l want to see on LBP 3

Material Rotator
The first one is the ability to fully rotate any material from the x & y axis in create mode. You see this will help creator a lot more since they'll be able to create thing like..... this

see how circular the main body of the tree is?

instead of this.....

Why so squared?

This is what Little Big Planet does, so a material rotator tool would be an incredible benefit for all creators especially the who are trying to make an RPG.

Surface Editor
Now the second thing l want to see on Little Big Planet 3 is the ability to edit the surface of any materials. Now if you don't know what l am talking then l'll show you and explain everything......

as you can see the pen pointer will let you edit anywhere on the object which will allow you to shape, mold, scale & mod into any form you want, like say....... a rocky ground
http://blendernerd.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Cliffs0072_5_S.jpg

it possible and also you'll be able to make mountains, cliff, rocky hill, rock and more....

Changing Solid to a Light Matter
Now third thing l want to see is something that let us change a matter of a material from solid to light and inbetween. Like say you want to make actual grass on create mode!
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_GVim8WIKtLA/TCgTWX5ob-I/AAAAAAAAAKo/bGVwlcm0Lko/s320/Beautiful+(38).jpg

Hmmm.... judging from the grass it isn't that solid or light, but somewhere inbetween both matter because if it was solid then the grass would be pointing in one direction and no wind could change it direction, also if the grass was light then most likely it'll be flat on the ground plus it won't have any strengh to stand. Anyway with a solid to light editor we'll be able to edit a material enough to make grasses, leaves, cover, flags, silk and more....

Spray Paint
Last thing l want see on LBP 3 is to spray paint all over any object with any color even all metallic colors (SHAKE, SHAKE SPRAY) you wish to spray to your <3 content. Oh just imagine a house painted with different color or better just imagine a black castle

Oh man l'm getting goosebumps by thinking about

Well that's my four wishes for LBP 3

cool ideas, specially the surface editor, even though it would be kind of hard to use, a lot of cool levels could be done with that2014-09-24 21:37:00

Isn't stuff like this the reason people are afraid of a 3D LBP?2014-09-24 23:38:00

It doesn't have to be 3D the since LBP 3 will be 2.5D, so every that l've mention earlier is possible to do on that game and the fact that you'll have 16 layers is more of a reason to put forth the ideas

This stuff seems more like content for a PC 3D modeling program then it does something that'd work well on LBP3.

And it's not even impossible or hard on LBP3 to get fairly more 3D looking shapes if you use a combo of deco and merge premade objects together. *mew

I think a lot of it comes down to processing power, especially with the PS3 needing to support all of this.2014-09-25 01:07:00

All the tools from previous LBP games most likely came (or inspired) from a game engine, so it's not far fetch to say it possible to put this stuffs l suggested on LBP 3 plus it'll fit in the game quite nicely.

There was another thing you said earlier "And its not even impossible or hard on LBP3 to get fairly more 3D looking shapes if you use a combo of deco and merge premade objects together." Please understand, peoples want to truly express their creativity without taking shortcut because that won't feel (or look) right. You know some or most creators out there really want to create cliff, mountain, hills, rocky ground, tree, leaf, grass and more, now even if it is in 2.5D they want to create it.
