I heard that the cool pages will be gone in LBP3 but there have to be a new list that replaces it. The cool pages had it's purpose even though it got filled with copied levels. It served as the best way of getting wild plays from all kind of people during the very first hours after publish. It's very hard to get a spot in the busiest levels list or most hearted/highest rated list because every level that you can find there has been on the cool pages. It will be even harder to get traffic on your levels or to get a worthy place in some of the hot lists than before. The cool pages is basically a stop for your level after the newest levels list. Removing it will create a hole in the system, famous people will remain famous while unknown people will remain unknown. I know that there are fan sites like this to advertise your level and get feedback but sometimes you just want constant traffic on your level if it's a versus for example. And that goal can't be achieved by simply advertising and getting some plays after a couple of hours. So what will replace the cool pages in LBP3?

No, cool pages ARE gone. They were removed after that video was posted. Yeah. And this is a reason why developers don't always like to show early footage of a game before it's released and why Beta is put under NDA. All to prevent misinformation. Even late in development some things get removed and some things get added. *mew

Cool pages, you will be missed. Also, they are getting replaced by a recommendations page. a system will search the latest levels you have played and find ones that are similar to your interests. But to be honest, I hate the new community page layout.

Probably the highest rated levels of the day, week, month, etc like we do in LBP2. Same with the hearts, plays, and what ever the other options are. Just my guess since it's still what we have in LBP2.

Not really sure about the recommended for you page. It's nice, but if it's based on my interests I wouldn't be able to find different things without looking on the Team Picks, which I would rather not do.

I hope we get something similar to the cool pages but with more customization options such as filters to filter out stuff you DON'T want to play. Lets wait and see...
