So, I'm all excited. I went and got my copy of LBP reserved, got the code, and yah! everyone's happy. On the way home, in my excitement, I decide I should probably take off the sticker over the code so that I can write it down a few times in case I lose the card. You'd think that's a good idea, right? No. No it was not. After taking off the sticker this is what I was left with. I tried to get the code off the sticker part by slowly peeling it off, but there's no way I actually got it right - almost nothing was legible. I'm ******. Worse, it clearly says on the back that if you lose or destroy your code, you don't get another one. I went back to my GameStop, and they wouldn't give me another one. If someone else could PM me with their code so I can see if I at least got the right pattern, I'd enjoy it. Or, if Sam could hook me up, I'd appreciate it a lot. Otherwise - grrgrr

i got my code today... i pre-ordered last week. he just made sure i pre-ordered it and handed one over... go in another day and look for a different guy to ask.

Decided to play it safe and take the sticker out on my code. Came out perfectly fine, I don't see why yours ripped like that... Really weird.

I know! I was actually careful, too. Oh well, it sounds like my best chance is to head over to another GameStop and see if they'll give me another, or cancel my preorder and repreoder.

I'm gonna preorder at 5 different stores, wait 2 months after LBP's release, then sell the codes through ebay. Oh yeah. No, I won't... But it's doable. ...And mean. D:

I got my kratos code today and i almost had the same thing happen luckily the rip started exactly after the last letter. but it was idiotic to put a sticker on a paper card they should of either done a scratch off on paper or sticker on a plastic card. also it just might be some of the cards glue kinda melted into the cards. my card the sticker looked as if it was melted and it was a pain to rip off i had to be careful and pull very slowly. I also did it in store so be chance it did rip the whole code they might still give me another knowing that i wasn't trying to get two codes but just wanted a card that worked.

I'm going back tomorrow to try a different guy. At the very least, I hope I've warned others about the dangers of the sticker, and a few more codes can be saved.

Okay, I went back to the Gamestop, and they were very courteous this time...got a new one easily, and took it off in the store to be safe. It worked, but ripped right after the code...I was much more careful this time.

Try attacking the sticker with a hair dryer, it works quite well for removing awkward stickers from book covers so it should do the same for the pre order codes.

Nariko > Kratos When I had my 360, my dad got the core without a hardrive, and you can't play online without some sort of memory. I went to Gamestop, I didn't have enough for a hard drive, so I was going to get a memory card, and the guy told me I couldn't play online with it, I'm guessing just so I bought the more expensive one. So I bought the memory card anyway, and it DID work. I really don't trust Gamestop employees' opinions either, not after one guy reccommended Alone in the Dark over Battlefield: Bad Company.

Don't take the sticker off. It's not a scratch-off, man. It's different than a lotto ticket. If you scratch it, the sticker doesn't come off, at least not for me.
