Loading My Cross-Controller Level Disconnects Vita on White Loading Screen
Archive: 4 posts
Does anyone have a fix for this? I try to prevent this every time by saving correctly and backing up frequently, but I just finished a piece of annoying logic and now my level wont load again. Is there anyway to prevent/fix this? I find it absolutely ridiculous that they never fixed this even a year after the release especially since it has happened to all 3 creations I have attempted in this DLC. If it helps, it sometimes says "failed to load level" before this happens, then if I click it again, it starts loading and then the PS3 screen pops up in the level but the vita stays on the white screen and the PS3 says the vita disconnected. The worst part of this is that I have to restart the app on my vita every time this happens because there's no way out of the loading screen. | 2014-09-21 01:05:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
If you're playing wirelessly make sure there isn't anything blocking the direct connection between the Vita and PS3. I found that even my leg being in front of my Vita caused this problem. Odd. Kind of how a TV remote won't function unless there is a clear line of sight. Though this may just be me being deceived by technology. But it did work, clear line of sight between the two devices. | 2014-09-21 03:28:00 Author: SEWO97 Posts: 637 |
*Check to make sure that the local network is not being interupted. If the local network is offline then the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will lose connection and you will have to reconnect after the problem is fixed. *Check to make sure that none of your objects, stickers, or levels are corrupted. If an object or sticker is corrupted, then it will appear with an exclamation point in the Popit menu. If there are any corrupted items, then either restore your profile from a backup or delete the corrupted items. *Try entering the level in Play Mode. If you can enter Play Mode without any issues, enter the Start Menu and select "Switch to Create Mode". If you entered Create Mode without problems then save the level and wait for it to recover saved information from the PlayStation Vita system. *Back up the level and restore it from the backup. Then try the above steps again. | 2014-09-21 22:04:00 Author: EleoMod Posts: 122 |
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it's not an actual connection issue (I could be wrong though) since every other level loads just fine. I assume it's an object that got corrupted but I don't often save them to my popit (maybe i should ). Even play mode won't work for the specific levels I have this issue with. I'm 90% sure they get corrupted but I have no idea why since my connection doesn't flicker or anything. | 2014-09-24 05:24:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
