How to get a signal greater than 100% on LittleBigPlanet 2: Cross-Controller PS Vita

Archive: 1 post

To get a signal higher than 100%, enter a blank level. On the PS Vita, create a score sensor set to 1 point, and an OR gate that loops to itself. Connect the score sensor to the unused input of the OR gate. Save the level.

Second, enter any create mode tutorial. You must enter an in-game tutorial level, as when inside a tutorial level, you are technically in play mode, which allows you to earn points. As scores are fixed to 0 in Create Mode, you must enter a tutorial to obtain points.

Then, on the PS Vita system, rewind. The rewind will actually put the PS Vita system back in the level you were in before you entered the Tutorial. This allows you to use the capture tool inside the tutorial, which is required as the game will revert to the saved level when you exit the tutorial. Now unpause on the PS Vita, place a score bubble in the level on the PS Vita, then collect it. You will have ten points.

Finally, capture the OR gate. Then exit the tutorial, and put the captured OR gate in the level. Save the level, and you have created an an.al.log value significantly above 100%!

You must keep in mind about these things below.
*Firstly, you cannot save items to your memory card on the PS Vita, so when you exit the software, the custom objects will be gone as if it was never captured. This means you must keep captured objects in a prize bubble to persist to a new session.
*Second, the Remote Tag Sensor on both the PS Vita and the PS3 cuts off remote tags which send an.al.og signals above 100% to 100%, so you need to create a custom microchip if you want to send signals above 100%.
*Third, remember that the OR gate set to "Add Values" on the PS Vita does not correctly handle an.al.log outputs above 100% or below -100%, so you will need a custom "Adder Microchip" to do this.

Feel free to discuss this below.
