i just realised something while playing the first world in lbp... media molecule insist they use same editor as us but they have sackboy in full motion video with stephen fry talking to us giving us a tutorial, i would love to have a video screen in my level to give a tutorial on how to play it if it is a special survival game or something, or simply have personal audio or video in my levels!! would b awesome but i assume sony would get bombarded by lawsuits.... people nowadays and thier fricking lawsuits...

User created audio/video would be a nightmare. There would be far too much copyright infringement for the mods to cope and even if people did make their own content chances are it will be god awful anyway. If YouTube is any indication is of what happens when John Q. Public get his grubby hands on a camera, I'm glad there's no personalised video content.

It would be cool however if you could capture whats happening in your level as video and 1 - upload to youtube and 2 - use that video in your level.

This is a great idea! They should add a video tool like the camera tool and let people record ingame videos that can be played on one of those video screens, voice recording and such would be a hell for the copyrights so therefore you should be able to add magic mouth text that can trigger whenever you need text to explain whats happening. If they then also add a video edit tool we would get an ingame machinima youtube .

I don't know... LBP is all about the gameplay : running, jumping, grabbing, shooting, etc. I think it would detract a lot if we had to sit around and have to start watching videos.

Like you bring up the XMB, hit the record button, play the game and then bring up the XMB again to stop recording. The resulting video would be saved as .MOV to your PS3's hard drive.
