You simply attach a tag (call it "speech" or whatever you'd like) to activate whenever you press your chosen button (using a controllinator, remotely, through a sackbot, or though some other custom character), and the use tag sensors on your npcs to respond to that tag. yes ... i feal stupe now .... but wunt it be eseyer to have it in a sense form so the creat mode is eseyer and more powerful While I usually advocate for streamlining the create process, I really think that the controllinator solution is so close already to what you're looking for (and in some ways, the whole point of the controllinator) that it would be a pretty superfluous addition. I've got an object I call a "satellite controller", and all it really is is a remote controllinator that reads P1's inputs, and has two tags corresponding to each possible controller input (one for a single press, the other for a held press, both with the same label, just different colors). Besides the organization, it didn't take long at all to make and was extremely simple in execution, and now that I've got it saved, I can use it in any level I make. | 2014-09-20 03:03:00 Author: Ryuhza Posts: 355 |
