The behavior of cloth.

I'm working on a level where I'd like to use a number of the cloth flags and banners, but I've noticed that these objects seem to be affected by almost random wind directions. This is good for making things dynamic, but I wish I had more control of it. Here's a screenshot from the level so far: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3319/3301488745_4a7a423717_o.jpg Those banners seems to have a mind of their own. It's great for the purpose of this section, but later I'm going to want to give the illusion that the setting is indoors, so if these objects can't behave I'll have to replace them. no from what I found they always seem to blow in 1 direction... I flipped one once and it blew in the other direction, so it looked really weird with like 9 flags blowing to the left and 1 to the right... Yeah it's an object. There is no "cloth" item but there is a banner, and a torn cloth etc. They are scattered through the categories though. I second the unpredictability btw. | 2009-02-25 07:34:00 Author: Wyth Posts: 263 |
