What will you guys first do when you get LBP 3?

Archive: 44 posts

When I first started LBP (LBP 1), I wanted nothing to do with create mode, so I played story mode, then community levels. In LBP 2, I finished story mode, then started creating. But I think what I might do in LBP 3, is mess around in create mode (getting used to all of the new stuff), then go play story mode. What will you guys do one LBP3 comes out? (Besides download it lol)2014-09-16 11:29:00

Usually, I'd finish story mode, because you'd have to play it first to unlock your moon, so I'd get the new stuff to use in create mode. Then after I'd go through all the tutorials lol2014-09-16 12:38:00

Without a doubt: I'll test out the new animation tools and fill a screen with ALL the special effects.2014-09-16 16:00:00

I'll squeal and hug the case for a few minutes, then pop it in the PS3 and spend the next five hours glued to the screen. Who needs dinner?2014-09-16 17:03:00

First off I will smile and such. Then probably play story mode for a bit. Create mode will shortly follow.2014-09-16 18:55:00

Oh I know this joke. It's like the 'match, fire place, and candle' one isn't it?!

Take it home!

Get 'ut? Because how you gun play it, without takin it home first?! HAR-D-HAR-HAR! Isoferny.

Unless this pops up on the Vita or you open it in the store and then break out into song.

Nobutsrsly. It'll be like the story levels never existed with how fast I'm going to try and zoom through it- with an enjoyment of the story of course. Would be rude not to enjoy the extra content of the game.

And then time to start making me level I am already planning! So far, main hub world is a near-go in the design stages! Just gots tuh make the foundation/base design in LBP2.

I'll be playing this on PS4 with my son who is 5. We'll journey through the story levels together (at least until I get fed up or he has to go to bed). Later, I'll ace the lot by myself. I'll also want to hook up with PSN friends and tackle the multiplayer sections because ultimately I want all the building materials and goodies!

I'm quite keen to play the interactive tutorials and see what they are about too.

Already preordered LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 4. When I get it, firstly I'm going to look at the back of the case, enter the first Story theme, and then do the Create Mode tutorials.2014-09-16 22:34:00

First, I'm going to see if I can import my profile on the PS4. If i can't, then I'll probably try the PS3 version which I also preordered. After I unlock the moon, I'm going to look at the old backgrounds from LBP1 and 2 to see how they look with 16 layers. I will also find out if the 50 layer glitch, tutorial backgrounds, and my advice music survive the move. Most likely, the 50 layer glitch will lock the level in LBP2 mode, but it wouldn't hurt to find out.2014-09-17 14:43:00

I would start with Story Mode with a gigantic smile on my face, just like the other LBPs.

Then I will proceed to go nuts in Create Mode with all the new features.

ALL OF THE NEW FEATURES.

And make a shark level.

Now in 16 layers!

Be disappointed by the small jump from 2-3 when compared to 1-2, then I'll play it for 3 years.2014-09-17 21:23:00

(Me whispering) I LOVE YOU.

Probably play through the whole story mode because I wanna have stuff unlocked before I create anything.

I really don't care about the new materials as long as I can still use the LBP1 materials (we haven't got any good plain wood or stone in a loooooong time). I wanna grab all the new stickers, music and decos though...

I'm getting the game at midnight release. I might end up having to pull an all-nighter. Hopefully I'm not busy.

Anyone else planning on live streaming your first time in create mode? I know I wanna do it so badly.

Beat and collect and ace and beat and collect and ace and ace and collect and beat and ace and collect and beat.

Once everything is collected, beaten, and aced, I'll set my jaws upon create mode. I might check out some community levels between that time as well.

I probably wont even play the story until I finish my RPG. I dont really need any new materials yet, unless they place logic there--which hopefully isnt the case.

I will probably mess with the character animator for the first week and try to master that as soon as possible. I also want to check out the creature rotator. I got some crazy ideas already that I cant wait to bring to life.

Oh a hub world is a good idea! Should be extra useful for PS4 players since I expect load times should be a little faster. Might just make one myself!

1. Beat story

2. Play in create mode for years

This is basically what I've always done too. Though I might make an exception this time and jump in create mode at the end of each story mode playthrough, just to dabble a bit and gawk at all the new stuff

The first thing I will probably be doing when I get LBP3: messing around in Create Mode... plus I would not suggest trying to create a good level when you start playing LBP3 because you would not be used to the Create Mode.2014-09-21 14:20:00

Make sackboy sit down. Finally, after all these years, sackboy gets to sit down. After that I'll probably have sackboy and all the new characters sit down for a nice game of russian roulette. lol Don't worry, the gun will be loaded with a paintball. 2014-09-25 08:00:00

When l get LBP 3 on PS4 l'll first play story mode and try hard to get all items in each levels then goto my new moon to see what's all the fuss is about you know check out tutorial to get a better understanding of the new stuffs then get started recreating + reimagine my project from LBP Vita which was unfinished, so with the possibility of LBP 3 l will push my creativity to new height and put forth my old + new ideas anyway as l work on my project l will apply new stuffs to it. Last thing l will do is go to story mode again to collect the remainders.2014-09-27 00:25:00

I'll play the story mode just for fun the first run. Then I'll go back and collect 100% of everything in the game. Then I'll spend my time mainly in create mode whenever I play the game until whenever the next main LBP is out. *mew2014-09-27 00:36:00

I will read the game manual.

But... Games don't come with manuals anymore

I'll probably religiously play Story Mode. Then play around in co-op create mode... Can you believe we haven't had that since LBP2? Both LBPK and Vita failed to include it.

Play through most of the story, until I just NEED to try create (haha). I think playing through the story will give me a good base for what we can create in LBP3. Diving straight into the create mode would be overwhelming.2014-09-28 20:01:00

I'd get the game from the store, do manly things (cry of pure joy), go home, put it in my console of choice. Then, play the bujeebies out of it until a newer, more awesome LBP game comes out. (LittleBigPlanet 4 for PS5 coming in September 18 2024 right before the end of the world)2014-09-30 03:57:00
