Both have the same release dates ugh I have to buy both now but do you think they'll be a shortage of players?

Different demographics. I think LBP3 will sell a lot to families and more creative types this holiday. Or people looking for a platformer rather than an open-world chaos simulator. I played GTA V last year, so I think I'm gonna wait on buying it this year.

If only it was as simple as GTA vs LBP on the 18th of November. The 18th also has: Adventure Time Dragon Age: Inquisition Escape Dead Island Far Cry 4 Sonic Boom With the 21st having Pok?mon Ruby/Saphire remakes and maybe Smash Bros Wii U http://www.polygon.com/2014/9/14/6147141/super-smash-bros-wii-u-release-date-nov-21 Not to mention the few doezen other games releasing in November http://a.pomf.se/wvreub.png Everything will have its sales cannibalised to some extent.

GTA and LBP are two of my favorite series, I'll buy a digital version of LBP3 and start playing at 12. I'll have both on november 18th, but I'll be playing LBP3 a lot longer than GTAV. LBP3 will consume my life for the first month xD. GTA will be shelved. So I don't think there will be a shortage of players for LBP3. It'll be fine. The veterans of LBP will most likely be on LBP3. So nothing to worry about!
