Question about "UI" making in LBP3

Hey everyone. I made several "top downs" in LBP2 and generally I kept all information for characters above their heads. It was nice, but didn't allow for much depth as to avoid massive clutter. In LB3 is there a way to make it so stickers or material can only be seen by player 1/2/3/4? This would be huge to allow players to make UIs each person can see without risking UI overlapping for each person. Any idea if this is in any way feasible in LBP3?

(Or at any rate, LBP2 if I missed something...)

The reason I ask was because I tend to do top downs, specifically fantasy themed. I do minor "hub" stuff, and that works, but there are certain things I realized becomes to cluttered to do that way, such as displaying ability "cooldowns" and various other things. I could do a 4 part display (one in each corner per player) but I just feel like that'd look cluttered. So for now I've just been sticking to small huds over characters, but it's small and sometimes hard to read. Plus I feel like displaying everyone's cooldowns to everyone wouldn't be intuitive enough and confusing for some people, and in PVP modes gives a bit more information than would be preferred.

There was a LOT of information such as a small ability icon, arrows to show that an ability is ready for use, etc. That would be much nicer if i could mount it to the corner of the screen, make it bigger but each player see their own information individually. Plus, it'd clean up the game-space. With "larger" huds and showing all 4 at once in corners you run into confusion issues and just out-ward clutter instead, neither small-hud or "show all" uis are preferred, but if its what must be done. x.X
