Do you mean a 2D map of all the levels themselves, or a 2D map of the globe with the level badges on it? Either way, I don't think either of those exists. It's a pretty odd and specific request.

I guess you could get the level templates in create mode, make stickers out of them and then rework them in photoshop or something like that. Otherwise, I'm not sure exactly what else you can do.

Pretty sure it doesn't exist. You could try recording yourself playing the levels and take screenshots from the videos then piece them together to form one image of the whole level. Also, this belongs in the help or everything else section of whatever game you're making this in

Perhaps we could be of more use if you could explain to us what your project consists of, and why a 2D map is so essential. Maybe we could suggest an alternate solution. There's probably a simpler way to proceed than crudely piecing together a map from hundreds of screenshots. But we can't know for sure if you don't give us more details.

So... can't you just get the level templates from LBP1, copy them as objects and transfer them to your LBP2 or LBPV save? Seems much simpler than mapping them out and remaking them from scratch using the map as reference. PS: As an aside, let me just say that you elevate the art of misspelling stuff to a whole new level. Holy crap.

yes but i lost my lbp1 game frum a house fier so it kinda hared to do that pluse on top of that i dont no how template a leval and i no all thows things thay gave you frum the story levals wernt compet part thay wer funn do dads like humpdy dumpty maby i cold look at a lbp 1 speed one vid but you get a defrent look on a object if you have the game or if you have a detild leval map i have dislexsya and other things

My LBP1 disc is back home in Portugal, so sadly I can't help you. Maybe someone else can. But if it's that important to you, the game is probably really cheap by know. You can probably find it for 5-10 bucks in a bargain bin somewhere. Or you could recreate the levels from memory and improvisation. I've seen a few "reimaginations" of LBP1 levels before and they're never exactly the same map as the originals. As long as the atmosphere is the same, people will still enjoy the nostalgia. Anyway, I wish you luck with your project. EDIT: Just for the record, I meant no offense earlier when I commented on the misspelling. Just thought it looked funny because some of these words could still sound correct depending on the phonetics. English is a quirky language sometimes.

About the level templates: if I'm remembering correctly, when you're creating a new level in LBP1's moon, you can choose a template of a certain story level. If you do, the terrain of that level will appear on the level you're creating, with all the stickers, decorations and smaller objects removed. In theory, you should be able to save that terrain as an object. If it's too big you can chop it into pieces and save those individually. Then transfer the objects to LBPV and voil?, you should have your LBP1 level terrains. But I'm not sure if I remember this feature correctly. It was removed in later games because no one ever used it. Who knows, maybe it might be useful for you at least.

The only place I have seen zoomed out plans of LBP1 levels is in the Strategy Guide (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Littlebigplanet-Official-Strategy-Bradygames-Signature/dp/0744010446), the screenshots are not massive, so they would be difficult to work from, but it does give you a perspective on how the level is pieced together. If you do want to remake LBP1 levels, and the template idea that SnipySev suggested doesn't work out, I would recommended YouTubing video walk-throughs of each level and following along that way. I remade the GDC 2008 demo this way, it was a bit annoying to achieve but very possible.

oh it is rilly use ful but ... ther are some bige hertels one ps veta dusent have all the tiels as lbp 1 and 2 so ya and to i thot thay only did sertent levals frum story mode and i wold like this fecher back be cuse if we cold see how some of the stuff in lbp veta 2 or even 3 it may make some ppl under stand the logic system in lbp but that wut i just sink - - - - - - - - - - ya im doing the you tube thing as for the dark levals i dont no how ill get past that but i will some how - - - - - - - - - - dont think bradygames wold give me a free gued book wold you lol jk
