Suggestion for a New Rule

Archive: 13 posts

I want to talk about how there should be no ambiguous (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ambiguous) thread
names such as this topic (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=91255-ooooooooooooooooooo). The reason this is going to be important, if not, helpful to the moderators, admins, and general community it that instead of having a guess of what you're going to reply to or help with, you actually know what it's going to be about. I mean, you wouldn't want to accidentally go into a Horses-in-Bikinis Thread thinking that it was going to be a nice little discussion topic, now would you?

If you're a person who can change the rules for the site then thanks you for taking the time to read!

We already don't allow spammy or ambiguous threads.

Though when doing our rewrite we must have accidentally deleted it. lol

Thanks!

I do think you should be a bit more proactive on this. Seen a few threads that had a bit too vague titles like "Help" or "Best idea ever". Should probably try and get them to do more descriptive titles. Maybe just change it for them and send them a pm2014-09-09 01:09:00

If you have Chrome, use this extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-dictionary-by-goog/mgijmajocgfcbeboacabfgobmjgjcoja). You just double click a word and get an instant definition.

All jokes aside, this rule just sounds to up-tight. It's more of a personal thing you don't like, then something that is ruining the whole websites you are allowed to have opinions, it's just if something doesn't spark your curiosity, then just ignore it. Simple as that. Sorry, but I'm saying no to this vote.2014-09-18 01:47:00

As the suggestion is already part of the rules package, I am locking this.
