Thing is what they are asking is a bit vague. Is it gonna be a single logo for the whole site? or just 1 of the games? and kinda hard to make a theme for a logo when you don't know what the rest of the site's design will exactly look like. *mew

Do we need to post our design in the playstation site? :meh: Though this is quite intresting with it being vague. I might try to make something but I'm not really a painter artist otherwise.

So just use your head when trying to get our attention! I would recommend either posting it here or emailing it to hello@littlebigplanet.com

We want you folks to work together I'm no artist, but the way I'd do it would be with one of those pictures which simply looks like text on the surface but would allow you to zoom in to actually see hundreds of Sackpeople, Toggles, Swoops and Oddsocks forming it.

The almighty StevenI posted in a thread I made! Oh, so this is to get our creative juices flowing I see. I'm guessing as it's not a formal competition, the official logo may incorporate themes from several people's submissions depending on what suits best. I'm doing the whole charade, got a list of key words to draw off, doing the whole design process. I just started my Graphic Design course today as well which is a weird coincidence.

It's a good thing this isn't a contest, If it was I never would not had entered. I often dislike competition that involve people's creative works. A lot of artists (myself included) dislike our works being judged and compared to others in a serious way. *mew

Wow, I am really blown away by everyone's amazing work! Ever since I saw Breezy's logo (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxCMpzYCMAAQIBw.png:large) on Twitter, I realized we had a seriously awesome contest on our hands! I'll definitely be taking part, but I really want something that captures the essence of LBP and the community spirit! Anyways, Happy drawing/creating to everyone who wants to participate!

yes, it should definitely reflect the expansion of the characters. This what I had in mind. In that case, why not have each one messing with the logo in a way that fits them. Sackboy's using his popit to make one letter, Swoop's carrying another by their feet, Oddsock could be either holding the dot in his mouth like a ball near where it's supposed to be or climbing a letter on the side, and Toggle... Hmm..... Could be lifting another letter as his smaller part could be carrying the "." or hanging off of Toggle's letter.... OR Or maybe have what they are doing actually make the words "LBP.me", rather than each only having one word. It all goes together like a puzzle (Which is cheesy for 'We all work together to make this community great.", and the characters representing the diversity of the community)
