Question about joining another vBulletin site
Archive: 8 posts
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post on, but is it okay to use the same username I have on LBPC? I'm thinking about joining another forum site that uses vBulletin to power their forums, and I want to keep my Apple2012 name on that site. | 2014-09-08 03:56:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |
Yeah it's fine. Why would you think it might be a problem? | 2014-09-08 09:03:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

Sure it's fine... you worry too much. | 2014-09-08 11:39:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
Yeah it's fine. Why would you think it might be a problem? I was just wondering, I thought all the vBulletin sites were connected to one server. The CNET sites had a server where if you create an account on one site, it exists on all sites. @Ali-Star: Even if I want to join another site that uses the same software, I'm not quitting LBPC. I'll just be part of two sites. | 2014-09-08 12:57:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |

I wasn't serious. So it was just a joke then. But I can tell you this much. If I quit LBPC in exchange for another vBulletin site, then you'll know I'm a traitor. I know that I'm not a mod, but to prevent any off topic posts littering this thread, I recommend that this thread gets closed. Besides, it's just a question thread. | 2014-09-08 16:10:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |
vBulletin sites are all separate. They all run on different servers with their own purchased copy of vBulletin and there own database. Locking per op request | 2014-09-08 20:11:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
