This is another one (along with the tools I suggest in the my interactivity switches thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=9133) that would be great for a RPG level pack. Basically it works off the cutscene option with the magic mouth tool but expands it. a) less camera limitations (allow it to look anywhere so you can build the cutscene in an unused corner of the level) b) longer string of characters allowed than with magic mouth c) it has a wire connector. when the text bubble disappears the switch activates (or even better allow it to be set to activate either at the beginning, end or be on while the text bubble is visible). This allows multiple cuts to be linked together & allows motion to be tied to the cut scenes. I currently do this with magic mouths and it is extremely frustrating d) give the option of whether to allow or disallow sackboy to press o to close text book or to use a timer to close the text box. I think I know what you mean, and overall like the suggestion but I don't think "a" is possible because of lag. I don't think lag is the issue. Magic mouth might be limited because the camera swings, rather than cuts, to the new location. However, it's more likely a limitation that was built in to keep sackboy on screen. A similar thing is done with the camera tool. These tools are primarily designed to be used during gameplay so they were error-proofed with features designed to keep sackboy present. The reason I don't think it was limited because of lag is because the physics simulation occurs simultaneously throughout the whole level. There's no radius around sackboy that things move and then outside that area they stop functioning.
