Some of you may know that my name is not actually a reference to Lord of the Rings, but a character in what was essentially a Zelda fanfic from when my brother and I were in elementary school. All these years later, I found it again, and figured I would type it all up and share it with you. Unfortunately, I got lazy, so I haven't gotten all of it, but I felt as if I should share what is already there so you can know why I named myself after this story. Please note, this was written by my older brother when he was in fourth grade- my masterpiece I wrote in kindergarten is sadly gone forever. Also, I tried to keep grammer and spelling as similar to the original stories as possible. Anyway, enjoy! -Battle For Light Saga- Book 2 The Adventure of Rock Prologue Rock Sauron was born in the River Town of Saria in the beautiful kingdom of Hyrule, on May 4, 4999. In 5001 Rock moved to the county of Karakon. Rock had one younger brother named Krick. When Rock was 15 (Krick was 12) Rock's parents were murdered. Rock and Krick moved back to Saria Town in Hyrule. That is when the adventure began. Chapter 1 Year: 5015 Rock was riding to Rauru Town to pick up prize money from a bet he won against a great knight named Dave Comwar, son of Drake Comway, one of Doran's most famous explorers. Rock saw Dave with exactly 500 rupees. "Rock, you are a great warrior. I wish to train you in the arts." Rock replied," Yes sir it is a honor." Rock and Dave trained their hardest, for Dave was going to fight a Evil Warlord. The Prince of Lotor. Brother of the King of Lotor. They planned to attack them in his palace on Death Peak in Lotor. It was soon time to set sail for Lotor. Chapter 2 Year: 5015 "Rock since it is your birthday I'm am going to give you a magical sword. "Here it is." Dave handed Rock a beautiful sword carved from the best crystal. "Thanks Dave!!" "Your welcome Rock." (Time Lapse) Dave was just sliced in the gut by Gardeion (The warlord). "Rock don't worry about me. Kill Gardeion!!!" "Yes, Dave." Replied Rock holding back his tears. "ho ho ho ho ho ho." Laughed HGardeion as his evil sneer turned to a evil laugh. Rock picked up Dave's magic sword of flames and blasted a bolt that ripped off Gardeion's head. Rock shot another bolt that blasted his head into tiny pieces." That's for killing Dave." Rock dragged dave's body out of the palace and took it back to Hyrule. He was buried in Hyrule Graveyard near the Royal Tomb. Queen Zelda VIII acknowledged the brave Knight in a celebration. Shortly after Rock went back to his home in Saria to think. Chapter 3 Year: 5015 As Rock was examining the Crystal Sword. He found a parchment in a secret compartment. Dear RocK, You must search for the 8 crystals of Virtue so you can unlock the power to destroy a evil warlord. You already have one crystal. The Crystal Sword!! Sincerely, Dave Comwar Rock stared in awe. He made his way to his room. He pit alot of thought into ave's death. He would become a silversmith like his father for awhile. Since had had only one year of school left he could get a good business started. He would stop his dream of being a warrior for awhile to unwind. (Time Lapse- 10 Years Later) Rock Saw a tribe of Moblines attacking the village. But the guards were away fighting assisting Mido Town against their attack of pirates. "Krick get out here with your sword!! Moblins are attacking the village!! "Rock, and Krick fought off all of the moblins. Rock saved the village. His dream flooded on back. From Warrior to Silvesmith and back to Warrior. It was Time to begin the Quest Chapter 4 Year: 5025 Krick had recently moved to Rauru Town. So Rock rode up for a visit. On the ride he saw a 3 moblins attacking a hurt elder. Then he saw a young man walked up to them and fight them off. "Thank you Lance." Said the elder. "Your welcome Master Rerock," Lance said as he helped him up. Rock walked up to the boy. "Well hello there. You are a brave lad. What is your name?" "My name is Lance Terek, Grandson of Drake Comwar, founder of the country of Comwar," LAnce said proudly. "Well then. Your uncle Dave trained me. I would be honored to train you." "I accept. Mister..." "Rock. Call my Rock." "Alright Master Rock." "No, Just Rock," Rock said with a smile. Chapter 5 Year: 5025 Rock and Lance trained hard. Just as Dave and Rock had before. When Lance was trained enough (at least for the time being), Rock rode on home for his house in The River Town of Saria. Chapter 6 Year: 5025 Rock was leaning on a tree in Rauru Town waiting for Lance. He then saw Lance ride up on Justin his horse. "Welcome back, Lance. I'm going to train you a little bit. Then your mom invited me for dinner." TIME LAPSE At Dinner "Lance since it is your birthday, I'm going to give you a gift. It is a magic sword. Made in Old Kasuto Town. It's called the 'Ultra Sword'. Use it well. I'm going to Krick's house next door." Rock left Lance's house and hoped he would live through, what was to come. Chapter 7 Year: 5025 "I'll need armor," He thought. "I know I'll make some at my old silversmith shop!!" Rock rode harder toward Saria Town Rock worked hard on his and Lance'sa rmor. It was Hylian make, but a Gerudo style. "That creature shall never defeat us!!" "He he he he heh..." That fool thinks he can defeat me, King Arcadian Shadow. Lord of Lotor!! He may of been able to beat my brother Prince Gardeion Shadow. And that is only because he let his guard down." Arcadian paced across the black stone in his throne room in the Palace of Shadows, in Shadow City, Capital of Lotor. "Huh, if I die... The throne would go to my cousin Count Velis Degrais or one of his brothers. That Rock must be stopped!!" Arcadian his fist on the table. "VELIS!!!" Arcadian screamed. "Send Captain Cindec and his men and stop that Rock Sauron person." "Yes my lord." Velis walked down the hall to inform Captain Cindec. Chapter 8 Year: 5025 Arcadian soldiers came and attacked Rock as he packed all the armor in his pack. He fought them off easily, but he knew what this meant. Arcadian was preparing. Arcadian was Gardeion's older stronger, taller, smarter brother. He wanted complete revenge for Rock killing his brother. Rock raced toward Rauru town to ask Lance for his help. For he could not face Arcadian alone. He hoped he would not suffer the same fate as his good friend Dave had suffered. Chapter 9 Year: 5025 Rock raced toward Rauru Town at full speed on Crystal his white mare. When he finally reached the town he saw Lance standing by a tree. He explained to him about Arcadian. Lance agreed to go with him. "We should go to Mido Town Port for a hip. We'll be heading for Comwar. I here there is the guy by the name of Garin Monroeek who is a really good captain. You know what I had a really good friend by the name of Garin Bleauin back in Karakon. Hmp..." A few hours later he and Lance arrived Mido town. "There's Monroeck's ship, The 'Flaming Arrow'. We better get passage. After they got their tickets they walked to their cabins on the ship. "Well Lance I'm going to sleep." And with that he fell asleep. Chapter 10 Year: 5025 A few hours after Rock fell asleep he was awakened by Captain Garin. "Master Rock we are being attacked by Lotoron Pirates!! We need yours and Master Lance's help!" Rock replied, "Great, Lotoron pirates. Another bunch of blood sucking ugly fleabags. Alright, come on Lance we have worked to do." "Arcadian, Captain Cindec has approached Rock's ship," said Count Velis Degrais to his cousin King Arcadian. "Good then prepare my ship. I wish to kill Rock myself." "Yes my Lord," Velis then left the throne room. "He he he he he he he..." Arcadian laughed evilly. "Lance You take those pirates over there. I'll get the Captain." "Yes Rock." Rock followed the Captain up to the crows nest.The battle raged back and forth but was a easy win. ?If I go down I?ll take you with me!!? And with that Captin Cindec grabbed Rock threw him off the crows nest.. along with himself Captin Cindec ell to the depths of the Great Ocean. While Rock fell on a huge ship. When he got up he noticed it had the seal of the Lotor Royal families. ?Uh, oh!? Was all that came out of his mouth. Lance Fought off most of the pirates, which were either dead or threw themselves in the ocean. He quickly boarded the pirate?s ship which had a chest. Lance quickly opened the chest it held the 2nd Crystal of Virtue!!Lance left the sinking ship and went on the Royal Lotor ship to help Rock. Arcadian and Rock?s battle was short. Well at least for Rock because he was knocked out. Lance quickly took a shiny bag from Arcadian?s belt. Then he grabbed Rock and jumped onto their ship. Arcadian shot Lance with a arrow as he and Rock fell onto the Flaming Arrow?s deck. Arcadian left with his ship saying, ?I hope they don't live through this. And if they do? They?d wished they didn?t.? Chapter 11 Year: 5025 Rock and Lance are awakened in Comwar National Hospital in Drake, Capital of Comwar by Captin Garin. He said, ?You must rest Rock. But Lance you are free to go.? Garin left the room to finish delivering his cargo. ?Lance you must leave finish your quest. I will send for you when I need you.? Lance replied, ?Thanks Rock. Oh yah I got two crystals!!? ?Wow thanks Lance I guess I should get some rest.? ?Here Rock!? Lance threw Rock a blue potion. Rock nodded and gulped it down and then fell asleep.
