Player-Specific option in Follower, Controlinator, etc.

Essentially, I would like to see an option to have followers have the option to follow a specific player, controlinators to be accessed by only a specific player, and any current/new logic that has player interaction to have a player-specific option. I know that these can be done in LBP2 with a workaround, but it would be cool to see it be done easily. Most suggestions are just asking for easier ways to do things anyways. I think they may have added this feature, as in the LBP3 E3 Stage Demo they spawned each character in separate spawners. I hope they've tweaked the logic to have it.2014-08-28 06:34:00

Yeah, we already have the option to select the lead player, meaning the game leader but I think it would be great if we could select the specific player that something is set for, similar to how sackbot costumes can copy a player. While I'm at it I also want to suggest an option like this but it is set for the specific character that is being used (something will activate for someone who is swoop and only swoop, or it could be set to active for swoop and oddsock specifically, and so on) I'm sure something like this is already in the game for story levels but at this point I don't know so I felt like I should say it anyway.2014-08-29 05:46:00

No player number value though, its just current color temp-data in the player

Sackbot costumes can be set to copy a specific player's outfit though, from Player 1 to Player 4; the means to detect a player number are there.


Thing is, how would it incorporate players who join or quit mid=game?

Perhaps if there are three players, and player 2 leaves, that would open up the "player 2" slot for whoever joins next, so that logic doesn't suddenly start behaving differently around player 3.

Ahh completely forgot about this, but this begs the question

MM, SUMO, AND THE GODS OF LBP, WHY WOULDN'T YOU IMPLEMENT SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THIS THAT IS ALREADY CODED INTO THE GAME
