Adding camera shake to a bouncing object

I am trying to make a emitted weapon that is just a cube lighr. The light will "bounce" in place using a gyroscope and a rocket (up down motion only). Think of its behavior like a Thwomp from Mario. I want to add a short camera shake effect and possible sound effect for karts that drive close to the object when it hits the ground. I haven't made use of game cameras before and can't seem to get the effect to work. Anyone able to suggest what parameters I need on the game camera or is there a suggestion for an alternate method of creating the same rumble/camera shake?2014-08-28 00:01:00

There is the camera shake tool, that you would use. I would hook up the impact sensor to a timer (say .4 seconds, count down) which outputs to the camera shake tweaker. In the camera shake tweaker you can adjust intensity and range affected by the shake.

However, I'm not sure if the rocket works on weaponized objects. I think it may only work on dynamic objects. I'm not entirely sure what kind of weapon you're going for. Is it a dropped, stationary bouncing weapon, or a launched bouncing rocket or lob? You might consider using a piston to make it bounce. With that you would use a timer set to reset itself at a time corresponding to the piston frequency, hooked into the countdown timer, hooked into the camera shaker.
