Archive: 5 posts

This has not been a good week for the world of film as it has been announced that Richard Attenborough, star of films such as Jurassic Park & The Great Escape, and an Oscar winning director, has passed away at age 90.

Hopefully it was peaceful.

Fairly sad about this. Loved him in Jurassic Park and really enjoyed him in Brighton Rock. Ghandi was a magnificent film.

A true great gone

I decided to look up information about him on Wikipedia and it seems he really wasn't active during the 00s =/

Anyway, RIP.

I think he retired due to illness.

A lot of good/timeless actors have passed this year. I only really knew him from Jurassic Park but I was aware of some of the classic films he starred in/directed (like Ghandi and the Great Escape). Again, it's bizarre because I was only looking at his Wikipedia Page two weeks ago, having just found out his last name was Attenborough, I wondered if he was related to David Attenborough - which he is!

Exclamation mark is probably not appropriate so, RIP.
