Alright so while I was creating my PLCC6 entry, I noticed something. Lightbulbs can only have 2 colours. Of course, there are some workarounds but those just add a few unnecessary complications. Merging a bunch of spotlights together isn't very intuitive. I suggest a "Colour Tweaker," that is able to switch the colour of a material into any colour you need, just by wiring a switch into it. It'd be really useful. I'd appreciate it a ton for my current level. Too bad I've gotta finish it in a few days, and I can't wait to see if this kind of thing gets added in LBP3. I'm sure it would be helpful for a bunch of other stuff, anyway. Sorry for spamming "suggestions," I'm just excited <3

Yeah, that'd be great. I like to use multiple colors when making a UI (to give feedback on a button press and the like), but I also need elements the UI to be able to disappear when they aren't in use. Since changing the transparency from visible to invisible takes up one of the sticker panel material's two main states (on/off), I end up having to use two duplicated buttons on top of one another (one of the normal color, and one of the alternate "activated" color), which is messy to work with and takes up more precious thermo space. The closest thing you can get to a workaround is using the "dimmer" setting over "on/off" and making an in-between state, but that isn't always ideal, since transparency will be affected along with color.

It would be very nice to be able to use more than 2 colors on lights and materials. This is something that could easily be implemented I bet.

I think this is a feature... For select materials. Could be wrong but I have a hunch... Certain materials can have their color selected. The only issue is that it can only have 2 colors set at once (one color for on, one for off) What we want is to be able to change between more than just 2 colors on a single material or object.
