I'd like to see all of this as a survival but with a deep plot and developed characters that you grow emotionally attached to. I want this to be more serious than it deserves to be.

Oh god Mortal Kombat. It's seriously the worst copied level ever. Even shark survivals have some cool logic in the sharks, but mortal combat is just garbage that could have been made in LBP1.

I remember in LBP1 I loved certain bomb survivals but then I found out that they were like a plague to the cool pages. I had felt somewhat guilty for playing them at the time, but even know when i got back to some old ones I made I still find them amusing. It's a fun concept. Any level will seem overdone when published a million different times.

It's most likely the nostalgia that makes bomb survivals, train bomb survivals, etc. so fun to play.
